Unity announced on it’s website that it has acquired Pixyz Software, a 3D data preparation and optimization software solution.

Pixyz Software has three primary products it offers:

1. Pixyz Plugin
2. Pixyz Studio
3. Pixyz Scenario Processor

All of Pixyz’s tools and technology will get incorporated into Unity’s Create organization which is focused on taking CAD files from any number of formats and making them all work seamlessly with Unity.
